Tree is vigorous, partly tip-bearing, but can be slow to bear and not a very reliable cropper. Pollinated by other late flowering varieties like Brown Snout, Northern Spy, Court Pendu Plat, Ohio Red Rome, Rome Beauty, Royal Jubilee. May be picked up by the late flowers of Democrat, King of the Pippins, Michelin and Peasgood's Nonesuch.
