Buy Fruit Trees

2018 tree orders are now open - closing 30 June.

Tree orders will be available for PICK-UP ONLY from our farm during the week Wednesday 18th to Sunday 22nd July. Please note that we can not post or deliver trees and that orders close on 30 June.

The trees come from two sources:

  1. Our on-farm nursery (these have the code MAFG or MAFGS in the name of the tree).
  2. A wholesale nursery that specialises in many of the heritage varieties we grow here on the farm.

What's the difference? Not much, and trees from either source should adapt well to growing anywhere in a temporate or sub-tropical climate. The trees from our on-farm nursery in Harcourt may be smaller in some cases, and may be slightly more suited to our central Victorian climate.

Note for organic growers: The peach and nectarine trees that we source from the wholesale nursery have been dipped in No Gall, which is not an allowable input in organic systems.

Grow Great Fruit Program

We grow organically, and teach organic growing principles and methods. We’re aware of the changing climate, so the farming methods we use help to create solutions, not add to the problem. We've poured years of experience into our farm-tested Grow Great Fruit program after talking to hundreds of home growers, and figuring out what you need most...information, security, and someone you can trust to help you solve your problems.
