Pears

In winter of 2005 we planted about 170 pear trees of mixed varieties, including several old-fashioned varieties rarely seen commercially.

Beurre Bosc Beurre bosc

A brown pear originating in Europe in the early 1800s and commonly grown throughout the world. The sweet flavour of bosc pears is offset for many people by the grainy texture.
